Personally, bought it the first day due to a compulsive itch, but I am glad I bought it. I understand many others have gone the same path. What do you think of this particular gun so far? Also, anyone finished their upgrades yet?
yeap, pretty cool...i was looking at the STAR version and the G&G one beats it feature wise...
all that was need for ine the hop-up bucking, very correct. makes a huge difference.
People have reported that li-po batteries don't fit in the battery compartment (at least not Thunderpowers, or similar sized li-pos).
The Thunder Power ones will not fit. Supposedly, Ronnie says there are custom configuration stick Li-Po batteries.
this is trues, the widest part of the compartment is exactly 1 inch, then it narrows to 7/8 of an inch. I am going to try to tap a hole with a grommet through the back of the stock into a battery pouch on the stock. 7.4 Apogee.
Dam. 7/8th of an inch is too small for any lithium polymer battery I've ever seen. There's gotta be some space on that mother somewhere. Can the foregrip be modded to fit a li-po?
I was at AEX Oakland yesterday, and all 4 UMGs in stock had double feed problems.
Ok Ronin, KNUCKLE UP!
having the same problem as far as double feeding as it is. Supposedly G&G is sending out tappet plates with every hi-cap they ditribute to fix another problem, but now my umg has a hard time going into full auto, piece of sh!t... 11.1 battery, systema high speed, and a p90 tight bore for nothing, oh and a battery pouch too, still has great range though. Sh!t stain of a gun for now though...
