Hi Cap

HI, i was just wondering what the diiference between the hi-cap mags and the low cap mags i know the bb's hold more but is there any difference in shooting or feeding?

yes there is a big difference, the lowcaps are direct fed by spring tension, a spring is coiled in a channel and you load bbs down the channel pushing the spring back, as a result only 60 or so bbs fit in a low cap. A hicap on the other hand has resevior that holds roughly 300 bb's, it is fed by winding a dial on the bottom of the mag repeatedly every 100 shots or so *some mags need only be fully wound twice to depleat a full mag*. Because hicaps have a resevior, the bb's tend to rattle around as you play, wich can be a problem when your trying to avoid giving away your position. On the other hand the advantage of having more bb's to shoot often outweights this concern. However theres also the question of realism, and as such many players are switching to the ultra low cap star mags which hold only 30 bb's, the same number of a real steal hicap mags. Hope that helps

Yeah, it all depends on how real you want your experience to be. For me, I'm just too lazy and like hi-caps. Some people look down on hi-caps. It's really your preferance. The explanation above was pretty good but he/she forgot to mention that it could be a hassle to manual feed the low caps. If you have the loading rod, that could be a pain. If you have the injection type, it's more bearable. If you have the auto-feeder, loading your lo-caps will be no problem.
