Sacair attitude

Mar 7, 2006 2:51am
I was just talking to a bro and we were like I wonder if the new guys think that some of the guys that have been around have an atttude. I know I felt that way for awhile. And some other games I can see how some guys have the almighty airsoft god attitude.

I admit that I may have contributed to the attitude ordeal, I will watch my mouth, and fonts, in the meantime. Poser, I agree, that was also my first impression. And although I have not been on this forum as long as yourself, but I have seen a great distinction between my first impression and what I truly see as of now. Good topic...

yeah, it gets me annoyed most of the time...you get out there, and you see noobs/ or even old guys talking a lot of chit. they get on the boards and talk even more....its confusing why everyone thinks they need to go ahead and have a type of, "hey look at me, you wont see anyone else thats better then me...im the best...the best ever" attitude...then when you see them on the field, they think they are sooooooo cool that they wont call their hits, and blame it on you for being a dick for saying"hey bud, i think you got hit". I guess its just testosterone kicking in here and there, guys think that to make friends, they will have to have a "Badass" type of attitude.

no problem with it so far. I don't feel that it is bad to have an attitude. Things always seem to go well on the feild. But, with all these team challenges floating around, I fear that teams will begin to cheat so that they can say "I beat your team. My team is the best."

Yeah we will see about the team challenges, since we all know I am part fo the best team there is. lmao!

I'll reserve total judgement until I actually attend one of the sac airsoft sanctioned events... but speaking from a strictly forum-perspective, this is one of the most volatile and flame-prone forums I have ever been a part of.
Mar 7, 2006 3:28am
Well i have yet to feel any serious attitude. But then again it isnt attitude if you can back it up. It is then a fact. lol

the prblem is that tones can not be reproduced online. you cannot tell if someone is saying something seriously or sacarstically. so before you get pissed at some one for saying "your moms a female dog!" try and read their post in a sarcastic manner.

ummm from what i have noticed yes, to many blind fireing, and blind bang kills, or bang killing you whenn their gun is down and not loaded, my fav. and then when u dont call it they give u attititude and im like but u wernt even pointing the gun at me, did u mentally project it to me?

i think bang kills should be banned at CQB areas. last CQB i went to I went inside the house and literally over 10 people on seperate sides were yelling bang over and over again. Then someone says that "hey jeff, you got banged" so i take my outs even though I don't think that anyone really banged me. I think that pistols should have about a 2 foot engament distance. if you don't have a pistol you have three options: 1) get one 2) don't put yourself in a stuation where you will not be able to use your AEG 3) get a springer pistol. just my .02 worth of ranting.

I think my personal fav is the bang kill when they are looking away and screaming "BANG BANG BANG" and all you can do is stand there saying "wtf"

how about the one where the guy pokes his barrel through a hole and yells "BANG" when he can't even see you.

oh where they stick just the gun through the hole shot in four diffrent directions for a sec and then yell bang your all dead?
Mar 7, 2006 4:15am
"If these were real steel, you'd be dead!!!" OMFG retard... uh oh, there goes the attitude again... I tried reasoning that if my AICS m700 were real, he'd be dead too. He claimed I would have been too far away...

i think the context is wrong when you mention looking up to the vets.
Mar 7, 2006 4:22am
Borden, no feeling matches the look of joy in those big doe eyes as you look up at me after proper servicing....*zzzzziiiiiiiiiiippppppppp*
Mar 7, 2006 4:38am
man I am so tired of the bang kills lately, specially the ones where someone is looking at the ground one handing his gun firing at you, yelling bang becuase he is missing..... LOL
Mar 7, 2006 4:52am
Substitute bang kills for barrel taps/thumps. There has been an increasing disregard for engagement distances and the use of full auto.

If people dont want to do bang kills the right way, get rid of bang kills. Just shoot.

I just propose pistol within 25 feet. If you dont have a pistol a spring is cheap, if you dont have that dont get within 25 feet of people haha
Mar 7, 2006 5:23am
yes i would much rather prefer that even if im the one getting shot a 2 feet away. i hate bang kills

It seems that sacair decently enforces the 400fps limit, so I'm failing to see much need for the ill defined 'bang kill.' However, I also recognize the inherent liability of allowing engagement distances to approach levels that would make some eye protection suspect. Nobody wants to lose an eye playing with a toy gun. That's not a cool story for anyone involved. Not like getting your eye taken out by a grizzly bear but then beating him until he turns into a pussy and dies. That's a cooler story.
