yes Izhmash was one of the companys that was producing the Ak47 at the time. All i was saying was the reason that the Ak47 is soo widespread is not only because it is an amazing weapon, but because it was not patented.

just a quick FYI the Izhmash's (in Russia) are what the TM ak's are model'd after. another popular company is Norinco (Northern Industries Company) in China. and yes, it isn't patented.

Nah, I have the best AK ever. Trapper Industries AKS-74/GP-25 combo. Started a TM ak-47 now it has parts of the real thing thanks to trapper industries!!!!! Top that AK fans!!!!

hmm. i got a buddy who has an AK too. i might get an OD mountaineering uniform in july but i am definatly getting a M23 Pioneer. its cheaper than the grad series and it holds 8 mags :)
