PGC Ver 2 Milled gear boxes
Check it out....No more broken v2 boxes! Milled , not cast crap
I shoot Table Gypsies on sight!
Pic looks like they are going to be 8mm bearings like their other gear boxes.

ooooooo shiny!!! They also released a milled gearbox and hopup unit for the Star m249. That actually makes the Star more enticing to me now.

Well im new to this, so I may be wrong put im pretty sure all CNC machines work off the same kind of operating code known as G-code. Now the difference between CAM (computer assisted machining) programs and CAD ( computer assisted design) programs is with a CAM prog after the design phase it will help you write a toolpath and send it to the CNC system in G-code. Im sure there is ways to import CAD files to a CAM prog and write a toolpath for an existing design. Im pretty good with toolpaths, just lacking in the 3D design part of it. If someone wants to mock up a gearbox in CAD I will try to upload and convert it on a few of the CAM progs I have.

If your design program will save in a .dwg file it will export to cam. We use cad to make 3d models all the time. If you write the program you can make them for the price of material(20-30 bucks). Plus you can do crazy stuff like put your name-team-serial # in it too.
