Does anyone own this? My friend had one before and i was thinking of getting one. but the cycle rate is so slow... Is there a way to make the blow back more crisp and quick?

I have one... the only problem i've found with it is real bad cooldown of the mags if its kinda cool out. The slide won't blow back far enough to reload it (only happened once so far). I'm sure some power upgrades would fix it but i don't skirmish with it anyway so I'm gonna leave it alone.

hmm.. all of the ones if come accross seem to have a slower cycle rate compared to other guns. its like its always low on gas.

its a heavy gun with a heavy slide. Power upgrades and spring upgrades should speed it up. Also the dragon has a lighter slide.

could you dremel the slide down a bit to make it lighter?

No, but you could.

If anyone has any hi-capa mags for sale, I'll take em, thanks...

I also have a WE Hi-Capa (5.1). The slide is a little slower than most gas pistols, but it's not a problem at all. The gas consumption is pretty crazy, so I'd definitely suggest running propane with the adapter. I can usually only get 1 to 2 mags per fill. The few problems that I've run into is that the grip-safety is pretty unreliable, the thumb safety works but one side is very loose and can move almost freely, and the piece of metal that keeps the hammer from going too far forward is pretty weak and hammer has pretty much smashed the back of the slide.

the only thing keeping me from getting one is the slow cycle. i tried putting a stiffer recoil spring in my friends wei-tech. doesnt solve it ><
