I just finished an upgrade and Im running into problem. Everything runs nice and smooth, with a nice sound when firing. Problem is the bbs are coming out at low speeds, not enough to go more than 10 feet. I pulled the box apart again to check the nozzle and tappet plate, everything looks good. could it be a piston sealing problem? too much air bypassing the piston. Could it be a cylinder sealing problem? Any help or links to another thread would be appreciated.
AGM-65 Maverick:
Put together the cylinder, cylinder head, nozzle, and piston inside. Place your finger over the nozzle and push the piston into the cylinder from the back. How is the compression? Are you barely able to move the piston? Does it go in with no resistance? If this is all good, check your hop up bucking for wear.

your cylinder might be backwards. (the hole closer to the front rather then the back)

so to clarify, the hole should be close to the rear. I think thats the problem, because the hole is near the front. If that is the case it makes perfect sense: hole closer to the front less amount of air compressed, less air moving out of the nozzle...etc.
