i recently got a G&P body and am trying to get the delta ring back on the body. it seems that neither a TM or CA delta ring assembly will thread on to the body. i get about i turn then no more. obviously it seems that its a different thread pitch. anyone know?
try a light sanding on the threads. should be the same threading-did one for a tm worked fine.

I ran into the same problem when I put the G&P body on my gun. I t will work with both Ca and tm with a lot of work. I had to tighten the Delta ring as far as it would go unscew it then tighten it again. It was a leghty process. shim stock also helps

I had a problem like that with a Gaurder metal body and the G&P CQB-R kit ...the D ring was not the same thread pattern as reciever...But I did the same thing. Teflon tape and shim stock. I took for ever to get it right.
