I've had a lot of luck with my little G19, and have been putting a stealy eye on those new USP's... anyone have anything to say about them, negative or positive?

Headshot, you noob.... Steve is an awesome guy and brand new to this. If you dont want to help just stay out. You are far to new and far to young to be playing authoritarian. Get back in your crib before you get pwned by the big kids.

Ive played with one and liked it, im considering getting one. I though the recoil spring was a little on the weak side, but none worse that a standard g17-g19. The stock power was good and so was accuracy, the kick was also decent enough. TM is a good choice too altough i havnt used on yet.

I remeber the old ones had cool down problems like the KWA M11. When you shoot it for a while the mag gets cold and then the gun works like crap. Or it can just be plain cold out and suck. Now all gas guns do this but some do it worse than others for some reason. My beretta never did it unless it was very cold out. it makes the guns useless if they have that kind of problem.

Awesome... so performance wise, it should be similar to my kwa glock 19...

Well, I guess you don't want another glock; you already have a beauty!

Ya the USP (real steel) is an awesome and reliable handgun. Awesome balance and with the rear sights adjusted to your firing style....very accurate if you know what you are doing.

I'm with ya on that. I never been paintballing...just airsofting. Airsofting is a blast. Just about as close as you can get to really shootin someone in mock situations w/o actually doing so. In doing so; I mean putting big quarter sized holes into people.

I bought one of these, by the way... finally broke down and picked up a black-boddied p.8 from AEX for 135... best price I could find, online or otherwise.

I think I'll be picking up the green and black one. It will go perfectly with our team BDU and gear patterns.

Unfortunately, the recoil spring is my main beef with this gun as well. As for upgradability--its a much more complex unit then found on the G19, I'll take some photos for you, I believe its similiar in design (if not dimensions) to the USP-c's spring rig.
