In your opinion what is the best stock AEG for under $350?

TM M4

TM SR-16, shorter than a M16A2, slightly longer than a M4 but has a full stock for a large battery, excellent for both cqb and field use.

depends what you like. Can't go wrong with TM guns, go to AEX and hold some to see whats comfortable to you. Course for $350 (before tax) and under with no accessories or charger or anything extra you can get any Marui gun AEX sells aside from the PSG-1 :wink:

TM SR-16 can be purchased at Airsoft Extreme for $315. ;) That is without sales tax of course.

I went to airosft extreme and they said that the classic army's are the best stock guns. O well. They told me to go with the CA M15A4 over the TM if I didn't want to upgrade it.

Yes out of the box, CAs beat TMs but may have problems in the future. TMs almost last forever. With a CA your main focus would be the metal body and the out of the box specs. As for a TM you get a quieter gun, ABS constructed body, but will last for almost it seems forever.

Personally ,go for what you want. Alot of people buy the Mp-5 or M4/M16 series. Me I got a P-90.It all depends on what you like.

I think everyone has their own likes and dislikes in styles of guns. As someone else suggested; go to AEX and check out their inventory. They have a good number of AEG's that you can hold and get a feel for. From what I've seen and heard though; TM is the better gun in the long run. I personally love the look of the P90. It's different, yet functional at the same time. I got that mainly cuz of the looks and cuz everyone and their mom owns either an M16, M4, AK47 or a variant of those.
