Tactical question
You have two, three man teams that are advancing on a group of five 200 feet away. There are rocks and dense bushes spread out about 20 feet apart all the way to the other team but they are only chest high. The other guys see you and are waiting for you to come into range. You need to take this position and fast. How do you do that?

LMAO, yeah death from beyond! Sorry no snipes just assaulters.

R.P.G. or LAW. If you don't have a ir support.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.
If u have no support have one team engage the enemy in a direct attack. have the other team get into a position to overlap fire onto the enemy. If the terrain allown you to move slow withour being seen then use it to get a better angle. or use smoke.

did you just answer your question, Poser?

Just talking to myself again, lol. No what I am looking for are different ideas on how to do different tactics, and to see what other peeps use out there, that work in the airsoft enviroment. I read about it and try to use it in our games but it is hard. Most of the time guys just go Rambo. What I am trying to do is show different tactics and hopefully see others methods too. Resuting in them being used in the games. It is cool to see guys work together and get sheat done. Even better when there are several teams out there working against each other.

at 200ft you could toss a few grenades or use a 40mm then charge the position. At 200m or 200yds that's a different story.

An M249 or M60E3 at either range is going to keep the baddies heads down untill the riflemen get on top of them and frag the living daylight out of the position and flank around to clean up the remains.
(poser).......you are absolutely correct in the tactical approach you mentioned. The funny thing is, I've had our team use the Leap-frog method almost regularly, because it's so effective, for the most part, on many situations (I'm talking about airsoft...I've never been in the military and don't plan on being in it, but I use these techniques in EP assignments...etc).
Farting does sometimes work, but it is most effective as a distraction method..LOL in closed places, buildings and hallways..etc.
Actually, to be honest with you, a good sniper will be a great advantage, even though it's only 200 feet. If he or she is quick at target aquisition, many of those 5 will be down very quickly, depending on the enemy's ability and training on how to move or not move in a given situation!
The technical term for your leap frog technique is "overbounding". Overbounding is very effective in most tactical assault situations provided all players are committed and you move fast.
And should another macabre spectacle like that occur... I can promise you gentleman a day of reckoning you will not live long enough to never forget. -Way of the Gun
thanks NEO. you coming out sunday to the olive grove?

...thus our new team name "Bounding Overwatch"...by the way.
I would charge and yell WOLVERINES! but me, i would do either a leap frog method, or if i had the fire support from SAWs i would do that. Mabye an apahce would help? 8)
Poser, you need to sell all your hicap & buy box mag...
That sounds cool. I really like the tactical stuff and I think it add so much to the airsoft game. Where do you learn that stuff? Are there any good books/videos? (I mean, besides blackhawk down and movies)
Some ghosts come from the underworld. Others take you there.
Erik using tactics?
God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.
