In memory of my biological father...born July 8, 1947...Michael L. Rogers...Sgt., 11th Armored Cavalry, Gunner/Loader, '68-'70, Vietnam (various locations, ambush patrol, jungle busting and infantry support) + partial involvement with Tet Offensive....who passed away, alone on his couch, sitting in an upright stance on November 10, 2005.
Just let him sit in on this site for a bit, guys....for me and for him, without any posts for a few minutes...please.
thanks everybody, who stood aside for a few moments.
wow dude, this is touching, seriously. i learned some gross things about nam today at school. i guess it was one of the biggest mental changing wars ever. as in, the stuff you saw at nam, will stick with you forever.
Much appreciated..Joe..really, your comments are appreciated. I guess I'm trying to deal with things and thought it would be good to put him up here for some reason. Maybe I'm more sensitive, now that I'm 35...I don't know.
Good night everyone. Feel free to post with Q's...and your comments do help me feel better.
very touching man, very touching. god rest his soul.
He will be in my prayers tonight.
