hmm interesting, the m16a1 has a eg700 but a v1 gear box according to power edge.... i have never shopped there nor do i know if they know anything. but can a v1 run with a eg 700? i dont know

Yup, don't buy it unless you have a TM Famas otherwise you'll have a motor you will never get to use and have wasted your money.

The 93' model A1 used a Eg560 motor and a verson II gearbox.

Sounds like Woodencow55 knows what he's talking about. Why would you want an Eg560 when there're newer high-speed motors?

He does, and the only reason id buy an EG560 would be if i had to run my gun off of an 8.4v
