Face/eye protection...

What are your standards concerning face and eye protection for sacair games? I saw in the faq that a certain level of ansi standard safety goggles/glasses are required, but no mention of face masks or mouth pieces. Does that mean that masks and mouthpieces are not required?

u HAVE to some form of eye protection on, i wear shooting glasses, i'll be i have had my lip split but not as bad as loseing an eye. If your under 18 i think you have to were a full face mask but dont quote me on that. JUst whatever u buy make sure its anzi approved i think like 7.1. oakley sun glasses also work, (not the fake ones) and dirt bike google work as well.

I wear my cheapo $13 mall specials out there. They wrap around so they cover the sides too. I got hit once in the eye area yesterday. No problems

Like Rap stated, Eye proection is REQUIRED. I normaly carry three sets of glasses ( one sunglasses, and the other two normal, plastic shooting glasses )

I have some Wiley-Xs but i'm was checking if some of the manny sunglasses i have would work. I have alot of Smith glasses and smith is certified for ANSI Z80.3. Anyone know if this is enough? Wiley X is ANSI Z87.1 but i can't find any specific information on ANSI Z80.3

yeah ANSI Z87.1 should work. well as for Z80.3 perhaps google it?

ya i know ANSI Z87.1 works... it protects soldiers from shrapnel form IED blasts and i've gotten hit in the eye wearing them so they're good to go :) . I googled ANSI Z80.3 and couldn't find the specs on the impact requirements to meet the standard though... anyone know where to look?

minors are not required to wear paintball masks or mouth peices. but if you don't want to have some welts on your face you should wear a paintball mask. also, remember to keep your mouth closed in game. teeth can get knockd out.

I've got a regular set of paintball goggles, which work just fine (i don't believe in spending a whole lot of money on goggles that're meant to be trashed). I was mostly concerned about face protection...
