Yes, another noob install problem. After installing all parts, everthing was working good for about 600rds. Every once in awhile the gun jams with the spring fully compressed. I pulled it apart, spun the gears without the piston and they run smooth. Is it possible to have too much side to side play in the gears because of too little shims. Is it possible i installed the M120S spring backwards. Right now the close coils are on the guide side. any help is appreciated.
AGM-65 Maverick:
what type of battery are you using? the irregular pitched side should be inside the piston
9.6v 8cell, I dont know what mAh. Ive got the systema supertorque motor
AGM-65 Maverick:
If your gears are binding, make sure that when you test if you shimmed the gun correctly (when you spun the gears) that you screwed in all the screws to make an accurate check if the the mechbox was shimmed correctly.

Actually, I believe he has it right. The only person that I know who does that on purpose is Neouser. The theory behind it that one gains a little FPS.
to be clear, the tighter coils should be inside the piston?
AGM-65 Maverick:
Ive got systema standard ratio flat gears.
AGM-65 Maverick:
should the spur gear have the smaller bushing on the top or the bottom?
AGM-65 Maverick:
I thought the bushings were of all the same size... Well, they should be.
