Recently, a plastic internal part in my CA870 broke... with the help of d80's advice, I attempted to repair and reinforce the broken/worn-out part (thanks for the help, d80!). Unfortunately, in an attempt to repair it, I caused irreparable damage to it. I can't find the part I need on any site. Basically, I need to buy a new CA870 and worry about the plastic part wearing down again.

too steep! unless you have autocad and do the shizzle already ehh id get another gun, have an extra for parts =) they are like 108.00 from AEX for the basic 870, you dont need everything if you just need internals :)

I was thinking maybe I could find CAD software (somewhere) and replicate it in that. That'd save me $150 I bet. Even still, I think the price is too high. I'll just buy another CA870 and if the part breaks/wears down, I'll fix it the right way instead of messing it up.

Assuming that the hole is rather rough on the surface, and you clean it well with rubbing alcholol, JB weld should have no trouble attatching to the surface. The hardest part would be letting it cure for at least 48 hours before drilling.
I asked my dad about JB welding it. He said he'd either take it to work and do it or bring some JB Weldness home. Thanks. :D
