Saw this on Redwolfairsoft.com . Not sure if it's new news or not, but here it is: STAR SL9.

The SL9 Conversion Kit has been out for a while however, this is new because it is a Star AEG not just another conversion kit. Star has been releasing the entire G36 line as an AEG recently. And CA will be coming out with an SL9 AEG too.

the best part about the star g36 is their quick change gearbox. The rear of the gearbox the spring guide is held in by a retainer. Push and twist and you can pull out the spring guide and spring to swap out springs in minutes. Almost makes me wanna by one :P

Heh that rifle isn't capable of full auto. Must be a misprint or something.

[quote="el_marinero] Actually buddy, it is. The selector switch is kinda funky. The dot is the safety, the 0 is semi, and the 1 is full auto.

A full auto sl9 is just sooooo wrong. Oh well this is airsoft afterall

you know, I was looking at a few picts of the real steel Sl8 and Sl9...and I haven't seen any real difference besides that of the body used and it's color......be tight if they made it in white instead of black....looks even tighter.

Actually... I just sighted my scope for sl-9 today, and I was rather dissapointed.

Bah why does STAR call it an SL-9? It's an SL-8!!! SL-9 is chambered in 7.62x37mm. The STAR CLEARLY says 5.56x45mm.
