silencer efficiency
opinions; whats the best working silencer 200mm and under?

i think that the mini, multi-v one thats like $25 from AEX works great...it works better than my old trigger happy QD that i had.
does it make a noticeable sound reduction?

ehh so so, for the most part guns will always be somewhat loud, i mean u have motor slaping apiston around inside metal gear box so most of the noise comes from that, if u want a quite gun get the p90, but my socom works ok, plus it looks oh so cool.
your silencer will only alleviate the snap of the muzzle burst. not 100% either. you'll always have gearbox noise, but that isn't as noticeable from a distance, as it will be to you. i love having a silencer personally

does the Multi-v have foam?

Well, if you dynomat the inside and add a silencer, the gun is really really quiet... I did that to my gf's P90.

when buying a silencer, which should you get? as in do all the barrels fit the silencer? I want a silencer for my SL-9 any opinions on which silencer to get? and besides looking cool and modifying the sound a little does it have any other effects on the gun as far as accuracy?
Coolwater airsoft is a bunch of queers hence they all dress pretty and match all the time, most of them are simply adults that live at home still, when they arent doing airsoft stuff they like to play D&D and have circle jerks, they all voted for Jon Kerry and are democrats
they make silencers that go on quick over the three lug flash hider for the MP5, you might want to try that
Yup, MP5s have different silencers made for them. I'm sure they make adapters also.

thanks I really appreciate the info, but for my sl-9 I know that is is reverse thread but are they all universal fit ?

the sl-9 has threads I just dont know if all silencers fit the same or if I have to get a special one for the sl-9? the sl-9 sd is rad and I really like the way that barrel looks is there anyway to buy that outer barel?

the sl-9 is a star with marui internals and body

yes and no there are two pieces to the outer barrel one piece stop right at the end of the foregrip then threade on is a second piece that I assume would be where to hook on a silencers but what I am trying to figure out is are all silencers have the same hole to screw the barrell into?

depends on the silencer. the QD silencers attach to the flashhiders on m4's and won't work on your gun. but silencers with 14+ threads will work on your gun I think. not so sure about threads.
okay thanks, so basically they are all 14mm? they all have the same fittings just different thread type?

That's kinda funny because the top one says G36 right on it.

By the beard of zues I know that but it isnt a g36 it is a sl-9 but based off of a g36

the QD silencer will work if you get a g36c flashhider and screw it onto the threads. then the silencer attaches to the silencer i believe. the socom style silencer will work if it's 14 mm threads. both can work, but depends on what you want.
