Save gas and time. There are so many dang wild turkeys here in Folsom. The mostly hang out with the peacocks on the prison grounds but in the morning they usually venture out pretty far into town. But then again Folsom has a don't hurt the turkey rule. So your call.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

i live on a few acre in the middle of no where and there is about 15 turkerys on our property and 1 tom, and i got to say that tom is the most teritorial ass i have ever met, :lol: aggresive puts its softly, i should get some turkey tags this year and go shoot him, i need a free dinner.
you dont need a tag just a sticker on your hunting license

but his is the way it will happen you will see turkeys all year long then when you go and get your upland game sticker, turkeys disappear

Yeah...we ran into some rather large ones over in Rocklin this last Saturday. It was hilarious. We were doing some very quiet skills training with the team regarding sniper location and dismantling and just as the search team located the 2 designated ambush snipers.....a complete SQUAD of black 20 + pounders walked right in front of everybody...LOL...LOL.
My dad lives in fairfield. But he didnt mention anything about Turkys. Ill cheack it out this weekend when i go to his house.
yeah, those turkeys always hang out in the area we play in Rocklin. You could be walking down a trail, not sure if your goin to get jumped by an enemy, then rustle rustle. You fire 20 rounds into the bush and out come a few turkeys and your position is given a way. :oops:
