After buying a Maruzen and watching it out-shoot modified WA Magna's and SCW's, Digicon, Marushin's and a Tanaka M629 (with a tightbore), I bought 2 more and 3 extra mags. The trigger is superb, shoots 370 with .20's @90 deg. on green, and 300 on blue. I loan them to nubies with no concern of breakage. Much smaller profile (great for small hands), silencer works well, can convert Surefire lamps to fit the taclight increasing the lumen output from around 10 to 15 with a tighter beam, optional tightbore barrels in 3 different lengths and optional different size grips.

Love my SOCOM, modded the LAM to put a laser in there that works on the switch for the LED. Cut the leads for the LED since theres only one switch and the LED makes for a crappy tac light.

The SOCOM is damn accurate. In my old place i could hit a red beer cup that was about 20 feet off and three stories up. Can also sit on the roof and snipe my friends. I dunno about the P99 though.
