If you're looking for something to carry on the job I suggest a Gen 3 Glock 21. They don't draw much attention, 10+1 rounds of .45ACP, reliable, accurate, and easy on the wallet even new in box.

The Springfield XD series is all good! I've had my XD-9 (mid-size) for 3 + years, now, and have fired high quality German ammo with it and it has held up very well. I carry it almost everywhere I go. I love the thing!

I'll be getting the S XD .45 version soon.

I have had my XD9 for almost 3 years as well, and belive me I have put all kinds of ammo from High qual to cheap crap and have never had a Jam.

I'm shopping and price is not a problem. I'm not going cheap... Para 14.45 is on the top of my list along with a Sig Pro.

Bleh. Forget about the Para 14-45, Fergie. Just get yourself a nice standard single stack 1911, like a Springfield Armory. Get half a dozen Wilson Combat 8 round mags to go with it and you'll have the same setup as the FBI HRT teams. You always said you like guns that are combat proven. You can't beat 100 years of solid history...

Para's are great, but I think would be really heavy for every day carry in my opinion. Why the hate for Glock's? :D
Ray's got the MOVES!

If Money is no optionb, go with either the FN5.7 or a USP .45 The USP is one of the smothest guns I have ever fired and very accurate.
