got a L96, i need it to be on the dot accurate...do you guys have a way to do it easily without gun stands??? or is there a way to ghetto rig a stand???
just set up a table and put a target on a lamp post about 150 feet away and aim at it and set up the scope until your happy...thats the ghetto way
well, i live in east sac...so i have about 30 feet of yard at the most...i guess ill just do it this weekend at the game... :D
It is very difficult to sight an airsoft rifle, because of hopup. If your hop up changes, then you must re-sight. It is very difficult. I think many people use scopes for cosmetic purposes only.

i dont shoot any anything specific, just use straight .36g(white) bbs and fire at a grass hill(or dark background)... make sure it is across an open area so there is sunlight on the BB obviously.. just watch where the BB flys in respect to your reticle... then adjust your hop so its got level flight, then sight the scope. its really easy i think acually.

Yeah, getting the proper scope mounts is important to because sometimes the BBs either fly up or fly down and your mounts may need to be calibrated accordingly otherwise you won't see bbs in your scope at all.
