TM m-14 to M1 Garand conversion
Listed on the AEX site under "preorder" is an M1 garand conversion kit. This means some of you limberdick fuckers with m14s need to come play ww2 with us once its out! its only a matter of time before someone does a BAR
it doesn't look like a proper conversion kit other then external dressing. Unless the Garand used magazines in WWII that I never knew about.

making a 6-10 rnd standard that would not protrude is easy. Cut down a TM standard and mount a garand floorplate to it.
hmmmm....that sounds like an idea. This is gonna have to be something I look into. Now all I need is to get some Nissei outfits ;)

Saw that last night. It was only a matter of time I guess--I wonder if the extreme proliferation of WWII themed video games is responsible for the increased interest in the periods weaponry.
BAR would be pretty cool, im holding out for an SVT-40
That VFC AKS74U looks a bit sexy... 8)

Ya, I saw this the other night as well. Since I love WWII (before all the games came out) makes me wanna get an M14. Hopefully it isn't like those lovely XM8 conversion kits with those awesome optics lol.
Is the gas Garand that bad?
From what I've read it's nice but can't handle gas and there were some who've broken their clips. But Marushin released an all metal one now.

I'd rather have a gas Garand. Actually, I'd take a gas gun over an electric one any day.

How do the clips work on that? Are the internals of the M14 changed? Thing is with the gas garand, you'd lose the clips... imo not the best kinda thing for skirmishes?
