Norca Army Navy has a good selection, but their prices are a little steep with their airsoft stuff.

how much were they?

I beleive they were $18, but I got them last year, so they may not still have em there. They are made of elastic and fabric, with a round plastic cap where the knee is.

Just order them from Blackhawk. I have a pair, and they are as durable and comfortable as you are going to find. I believe that they cost around 14$ as well.

Galls(.com) has a lot of high quality tac gear. Most of their stuff is available in Black, OD, & Desert. I ordered a crossdraw tac vest that I am very happy with. Rugged stuff.

I use RAZOR brand knee pads I got at Big 5 for $15. Came with elbow pads too. They are very comfy, fit well, and are very durable for the money. I'd suggest you check those out. Why spend $25 on those Hatch Centurion kneepads when for $15 you can get Kneepads AND Elbowpads?
