I think ronnie should bw next to andrew(on andres right) and when he opens the door to bang it. Ronnie lays down any fire he needs to and then moves quickly to the right where he is out of bullet pah from the enemy. and ya i guess adrew can stay behind the netal door for cover(but i cant say that its a VERY good amount of shield u know somehting might be able to penetrate it but most likey not, besides what else can he do? ) whats wrong with it then is that ronnie is to far from the door. (ive never see this type of formation) with the way he is, he would have to run towards the door when it opens, which ould instantly get him shot, and if he survived it, he would THEN have to more all the way to the right out of harms way.But in between those two steps he would most likey have to lay down some fire. and that would probly be AFTER he got shot up.This would be very bad to happen.i know none of us want ronnie to get shot.lol. so i think my idea would be better. I belive its how SWAT does its stuff too. anybody agree with me?

I believe what you are refering to Matt is called a stack. Ideally you would want to be stacked prior to entering & clearing a room. However, who says he's entering? Perhaps the 2 are preparing to exit? Or they have no intentions of physically entering. In any case you've overlooked the clutter of boxes to the right and the lack of cover to the left.

welll ya i guess ur right. i just assumed they were trying to enter so i thought they should be stacked.

...Maybe there are Jehova witnesses behind the door.

i say breach and frag.
Apr 13, 2006 11:37pm
If they are entering then ronnie should give cover to the door as the other man moves into a stack. Then he gives cover for ronnie as ronnie get behind him. Now that they are stacked, i say place a charge on the doors henges. When blown, throw a flash and clear left then have ronni clear right taking down any opfor in there sector.

And how is the other man suppose to move into a stack with only 2 men? And where are they going to stack? Why does ronnie need to cover the door it's not gonna attack him. Look at the door, look at the room and reassess.

If you have a charge on the door i say move that stuff as quiet as you can wile having a guy cover the door.

why don't they sweep and mop the floor while they're at it?

How about just knocking on the door and yelling "yallah hallam"?
Apr 14, 2006 12:31am
not entering a door way, i wouldnt be standing there and wouldnt "stack" with 2 men, too little for a stack imo. im covering a door while andrew opens it, plain and simple. whats wrong with the picture? you think im muzzle sweeping andrew? no im not, not even close to sweeping him with it. if you look carefully enough youll see the angles we took.

oh and for charges on a door..no too loud might as well go dynamic at that point. bust it down with a knocker, no need for explosives unless there is tons of tangos and need to be totally hardcore like dynamic. my choice, blast door hinges or dead bolt with shotty, kick door in and then go in with a smoking gun.

I was thinking more of a small charge. Just big enought to blow the dead bolt.
Apr 14, 2006 1:21am
Rinnoe i did this just for you because im bord and have no life. I know its a game but w/e it said even SWAT has played it and thought it was pretty good.
Apr 14, 2006 1:21am
it dont matter on the size dude, it still takes time to apply the charge then prepp it witha detonator, and u are still gona wana take cover, ever seen an m100 fire cracker go off? those things are like 5 times that in power, your gona have debrie flying everywhere, not large but enough to get splintered.
Apr 14, 2006 1:26am
yes 12ga shotty round to the dead bolt. like this.

shotgun to the door is more common than charges. "no stacking" with two guys. high low entry with criss-cross or long gun for cover while your partner with "little gun" opens the door. numerous ways to skin a cat, but no matter how you cook it, it always taste like chicken!!! clearing is up to the judgement of the team. slow methodic or fast and dynamic. with two, better go slow. nothing wrong with what was done. i would have been low and to the right of the door reaching to open the knob. cover me ronnie!!!
Apr 14, 2006 2:20am
ha when u guys were talking about the charges I was also thinking about the C2 that i use when i play swat4 online. ha. the c2 is ust enough to blow the lock on the door and not blow the guy.(oops that didnt sound right lol) i think that is correct. im not basing that off of just the game. i think i remember reading about it somewhere on the internet.

Just use C4 and blow the crap out of the door. As the door flies off of the hinge pop 3 or 4 cs grenades and go through with your masks on. And shot anything that moves that is a threat.
If you give to a charity please think of giving to one of these two charities. The Naval Special Warfare Foundation or Navy SEAL Warrior Fund.

That what I'm talking about...Viper is "The man". People need to educate around here. Play but also learn. Good lesson here. KUDOS for Ronnie.
