Any Elk Grove players here, i would like too talk to you about trying to find somewhere to play, any ideas?

There are a ton of airsoft players in that area. Finding a LEGAL place to play in that area is difficult. They used to play in this sewer like area but it was unsafe and now they don't play there anymore...

I'm in the Elk Grove area. Problem with Elk Grove is, there's obviously areas around with land but the areas too flat. So, even if the areas are usable, they are visible from a pretty good distance, making them... unusable. It would be nice to get a group of guy from the area together though sometime, just to sort of organize...something.

Yeah, I used to airsoft in Galt so if you guys find a place closer than Marysville, let me know ASAP... We'll hook up...

well i was lookin around on google local, with the sattelite view and i found forested ares in the middle of a bunch of fields, somewhat close to my friends house but it still about 15 min away, im gonna see if my mom will drive me over there but i doubt it, any way just go on google, click local type in elkgrove CA and its on lambert way, lamberts off of bruceville, its south elkgrove too,

LOL, that didn't really help.... It just looks like an overhead view of the whole city. You didn't specify the location or at least circle/mark the area. Plust your link really wasn't a link, it was a cut and past so I'll help you out...

Legal, playable land is going to be hard to find except for private land. Iâve been looking without much result for almost a year now. Galtâs city ordinance against Airsoft lost my team our field, so weâve been looking in Wilton, Herald, and other surrounding county lands. Maybe if someone or their relative owned land, we could all get together and put together a nice big killhouse, with everyone but the property owner chipping in for materials. I could supply some lumber and a four man team for work, but we canât find anyone willing to loan out their land. A barn would be perfect, but it would cost money to rent one out I think. If someone found private property we could borrow use of or rent at an affordable rate, I'm sure there would be no end to the possibilities.

i live in roseville and any and all devices that shoot a projectile are illegal. airsoft bb guns slingshots... you get the picture i found out the hard way now the wife is not happy i built a range in the house :twisted:

yo guys. i'm in EG as well, laguna area. as is my friend ben. he knows a guy with a well r6 (i think) and also derek if anybody knows him. i believe he's played with sacairsoft a few times, he lives near me too.

I just moved to elk grove. By chance has anyone contacted elk grove PD to ask if its legal to play or if they have a place they prefer we play?

Just got off the phone with Elk Grove PD. Here is the skinny. Airsoft guns are considered a firearm. You cannot discharge any projective weapon within 150 feet of a residence and 300ft of a park or public place. In addition certain areas of Elk Grove are off limits to these kinds of weapons. The officer pretty much said you need private land away from where anyone can see. So we are SOL on public land.

wow. I read about half that and then gave up. My friends and i play on my street all the time. At least once a week and all my neighbors know and dont mind as long as we dont break anything. I guys we're breaking the law. :P

hey guys. me and m0biusace are friends, we go to school together. i know 2 guys who play with well r6's (one of which is upgraded, apparently, dunno). D80 from these boards also lives like 10 seconds away from me. i'm on old creek drive off of laguna blvd. where are ya'll?

ok well i dont know about the place i posted earlier, the people havent called back, but i do know my friend who owns a lot of land, and even though it is all wide open he has a lot of junk right there, so maybe tommorow if i can im gonna go over to his dairy (thats were the land is) and set up some bunkers, i dont know how often he'll let us use it, cause hes not an airsofter (dang paintballers) but he likes it enough, so we can get a good enough field, ill try and get a game going
