Well I finally got the stock off, but I the gearbox doesn't come out along with the lower reciever any conventional way (unless you really gotta pull it hard). Can anyone help me get this mp5a5 gearbox out???

It all depends on what brand of gun it is... I know with TMs you can't remove the gearbox and lower receiver... You have to remove the lower receiver first (after removing the 2 body pins) and then unscrew the body and crack open the plastic body to get to the gearbox..

well ihavnt done any TM mp5 but my g3 first remove the upper and lower reciver, then remove the grip/motor, if u dont know, the motor is in the grip, unscrew the backing plate, then take of the leads, (do not lose the washer on the back of the motor) pull the motor out, then in the bottom of the grip inside there are two screws, use a magnetic screw driver to remove them, take the grip off but do not pull to hard as u may damage the wires, then use a very small flat head jewelrs screw driver to remove the screw in the side of the selector switch, very small, do not lose it. the selector switch should fall apart, DO NOT LOSE ANY PARTS U WILL BE SORRY. then the gear box should just lift out, a few inside parts from the selctor switch will fall out with the gear box so catch them, one is the cam part and u really need it. Hope that helps.
