can the maruzen type-96 take thick type springs, say like an m150, k thanx

nope...i was wondering that the other day myself...so, i tookj the bolt out, looked at the spring, and i have a feeling there is no way in hell it will work. but, dont quote me on that...

from what i have read the type-96 can take thick springs, but i want to make sure....

No, if you mean an M150 in reference to a systema AEG spring, then no.

go to redwolfairsoft.com, then accessories, then springs/spring guides - rifle, and then to page 2. the aps2 and aps type-96 are the same chambers so the spring you found on aex's website will work. the thick one will work in the gun. hope this helps

well if you found it under "Sniper Gun Springs" and it doesn't have PSG1 in the heading, obviously it works. From what I've derived from my research, APS2 and APS96 springs are interchangeable.
