I think asian people actually have it pretty easy compared to most other ethnicities (with the exception of Hmong individuals as it seems). At least that is applicable today, here in California. I almost consider it a joke when "asians" are thought to be the proverbial "minority." I'm not saying it's right in any degree from one person to another or appropriate at anytime; however, it's simply putting the global issue at hand that allows me to personally practice tolerance - a lot of others simply have it much worse.

quite frankly i think people need to pull their heads out of the thier a$$'s. Look at the big picture, i do not think we should have open borders, i DO think we should have imigration. My best freind isnt really from this country, niether is his wife, but they came here legally. Hell my grandfather was from scottland, and my great grand father was from russia. So go to south america so many people in that contenent are inter-fuc ked, thats the way it should be. We are all humans, plain and simple. No one is diffrent (excpet for that sewer guy form the xfiles, u know that walking leach thing, yuk, anyhow) biggots and racist are all morons. Now why do i feel no open borders? Crime, terrorism, over popualtion, famin, desiese, polution. All of those are outcomes of un watched open borders. I understand why people form other countrys come here. I try to stay out of stuff like this now cuz it usually gets me in trouble and i come off as a biggot by being honest but here i go (this is not a response to anyones post just a mix of my opinions and truths that i hold self evident):

all right heres is what i have to say from personal expierence, which even though im only sixteen i probably have a lot more knowledge about illegal aliens, than most people who have posted on this forum. and no im not an illegal immigrant. i am white, and born and raised in The you.s. A lot of you think well illegal immigrants, especially hispanics dont pay taxes or whatever, which for the most part is untrue, if you are working for a company, then you are paying taxes, it is just under a different name. another problem is, do you guys really know how many companies, and businesses are going to have to shut down on monday?!? I know the company my dad works for, the biggest construction company in california, and Nevada if im not mistaken, building large super storesm like targets, wal marts, kohls, home depot's, etc etc. all big block buildings, is shutting down that day, because almost all of the workers arent going to be there, and the company wants the illigal aliens to gain citizenshipt for reasons i dont quite understand. and i also dont want to hear. well most of these immigrants dont speak english very well, again not true, i was working on a side job with my dad a while back earning some extra Ca$h, and with the exception of one person, spoke english fluently enough for me too understand.

ah the old "we stole this land from the indians" argument. True much of our country we took from the indians. However that was a different time, there were no laws on immigration just laws of force, no one would argue that it was right or just but it was how it was. But Illegals aren't coming here to colonize the USA and if they are we should consider their immigration as an invasion and fight as we would any invasion. They come looking for what we have to offer OR looking for a handout (I dont want to hear any assertions as to more want such and such cuz none of us can say either way). As for companies shutting down on the 1st, i'd fire whoever didn't show up or at least penalize them. Sounds harsh but if you have a business to run and your employees are using their jobs as a political statement that thats not good business, but i doubt that loosing one day to no one showing up will cost construction companies a big contract. It won't happen cuz its not really practical or PC. If we discouraged companies from hiring illegals we wouldnt' be in this situation.
