A quick question about TM P90s..
I am Buying A TM P90 and was wondering which version is better, The P90 or P90-TR. Also I live in virginia and was wondering if there is any place to find cheap P90s. I am currently going to buy the gun and mags from www.hotspotairsoft.com, but if you know a better place, i would appreciate it.Thanks,
I think the difference between the two versions is very miniscule. It all depends on how much you wanna spend on airsoft and your gun. They have trade-offs. The Triple Rail comes with a Socom silencer. The regular P90 comes with a red dot sight. I have a P90 TR that I bought used. The guy I bought it from kept the silencer for a pistol. I tend to think the TR is a better choice just for my personal interests. I want to get a nice red-dot and maybe a tac-light later on the road.
Just to add, they don't make the original P90 red dot anymore.

thanks. Ive looked at airsoftextreme and they are almost identcle. Thanks for the reply.
My gf has a P90 and I dynamated it. It's quiet as heck. She loves it but doesn't want to use it since it's a rare gun and nobody sells it anymore. LOL

Alright, thanks for the info and i apriciate it. If anyone elese has a P90 or P90-TR and could share some info on it whit me hit me up. Thanks,
I also own a P-90, it was my first AEG.It started out as a P-90TR that I bought used for $200.I bought a metal upper reciever and converted it into the red dot version.I have also upgraded the spring and put in metal bushings.I have never had a problem with it. I still use it even though I now have an M733.

Internally there is no difference between the RDS and TR everything is cosmetic. If you're lucky and find a brand new RDS then pick it up. Since right now TM does not make them and they will be worth more in the distant future as long as TM does not make another batch. All the arguments over RDS v. TR come from Stargate fans.

yeah i have a p90 never use it but its aight, as freq said the pros are fast rof, quiet, rareish, but i find very difficult to aim if u have a full fase mask on or if your a bigger guys like me its not very easy to use i think. thats just me, but its so quiet, even stock its amazingly quiet.
The barrel isnt that short, same as the Car15 or the G36C, 247mm.
And should another macabre spectacle like that occur... I can promise you gentleman a day of reckoning you will not live long enough to never forget. -Way of the Gun
As far as stuff to hold mags, I used to just take my Blackhawk vest, tucked in the mag pouch flaps, and stuck the mag in. It looked really gay, but it worked. I just bought a Blackhawk drop leg for 'em from
www.airsoftatlanta.com. It only holds two mags, but thats perfect for me, I rarely go through a full hicap. I think I payed $60.
I love my p90. It is the only AEG I have and the first one I've owned. But I have toyed around and played in games with other guns (m4's, akb's, g36c) that shoot the same fps as my p90 (400). I still find myself coming back to the p90. It has the same range as the other guns and is easier to maneuver around with because it is smaller. It just isn't as accurate at long long ranges as the other ones. Which doesn't really matter...just compensate with your next shots.
[quote="Silverbulletzx3"]And yes, the stock gun is limited on battery space. But, there is an extended gun-butt you can buy for like $25 to compensate to fit a 9.6v battery. I honestly dont know who makes those or how well they work, but that's what Ronnie at AEX told me. When I muster up the money, that's my next upgrade for my gun.
You can, but it's ideal on an upgraded gun that shoots high fps to get a higher voltage battery. They will hold a charge longer because it doesn't have to "Try as hard" as the 8.4 in a sense. Plus your ROF will increase slightly.

Ya, the regular 8.4's fit really snug as it is with the wiring being tucked out of the way for the butt-plate. I tried the 9.6 Nimh and it didn't fit. It is just SLIGHTLY too big. Although on the AEX site it looks like they have a specialty 9.6v battery to fit in p90's
I have an P90 RDS, and I love it. The only real problem Ive had with it is fitting a 9.6v in. I bought the AEX battery, but the plug was wired in the wrong end (it lead to the front of the battery compartment, and into the wall behind the magazine feed area), and I screwed the battery up massively trying to mod it to fit in my gun. It is useless now, but it is my fault for screwing it up, not AEX's.
I forget the name of the web site but I know that there are 9.6v type batteries that fit stock in the gun. They are L shaped.
