ok heres the story. i just installed my woodkit on my ak, it look beautiful. but!, i tried to put the batter and it was a pain in the arse, it odes not fit in this stock or is there a special way to put in my battery? (large size)
Did you try putting the battery in the wood stock without it being on the gun and without all the wiring in it? If it fits like that, then you probably need to work out a way to pack the wiring in so everything fits.

I had that wood kit on my AK and the battery had to fit in sideways..I also removed my Fuse. I had to put it in at a angle..no wait, I had a 8.4 3300 in mine ..PM snoopy he will know how to make it work.

You might have to rewrap the battery to make it fit into the stock

Simple answer, a 9.6v battery (Large type) won't fit unless you cut it up and re solder it in a different configuration.
