Springs
Hi, at the risk of sounding incredebly nooby, and the community at Sacair laughing at me :) Can someone answer if its possible to keep changing out different power Systema springs to stay under the FPS limits at airsoft arenas? The gun that im thinking about getting is a SIG 552 with
its possible, youll just have a hell of a time getting it apart just to put a spring in to lower your FPS. just pick a spring/fps, depending on field, go with that. i usually leave all my guns at about 370ish. i just drop in M100 springs. for a Sig 552, i have no idea why you would run a m130 spring in it, battery space is small unless you start running some lithum poly's in there.

you could but why not buy another aeg for cqb? It's a good excuse to do that and you know you want to also.

 Fast responce here, very impressive :)
Yup, I personally don't like opening up my gun/gearbox unless I really really really have to. I would try and get 2 guns. One for the outdoors and one for CQB. With that, you can choose the right gun for the right game scenario. It also serves as your back-up gun just in case your other one breaks.

Changing springs often is definitely not a good idea. It's a hassle taking apart the Sig and popping open the gearbox just to drop FPS. Trust me, I've had to fix my friend's Sig a few times and it's pretty annoying. Your best bet is to do what other people said and run two different guns. Or, if you can get a hold of one, get a Tokyo Marui Velocity Reducer. They go for something like $30 bucks and screw on like a flashhider or silencer and can reduce the BB velocity to different speeds. The only problem is that it's somewhat inconsistent as far as I know and some fields might not allow them.
i need som1 2 help me rebuild my mr-799 bb gun
i way to quiclky change fps is to go with ICS the gearbox is split and if you get a second upper gearbox you can have 1 for cqb and another at 400 or higher if you play pickup games without limits all you do is pull the rear pin crack open the receiver and pull out the upper gearbox then slap the other one in and you are good to go but you might want to upgrade the lower gearbox before you start doing that depending on the spring you're trying to use. yeah i know everyone says get a tm or a ca and bags on ICS but i love mine and wouldn't trade it for either brand. good luck
