it doesnt work that way ive tried it with my scope which is the exact same thing and the dt is below the front sight

removal of the front sight is needed for that to work..
yeah, it actually works better for me the way it is. Reason being is that for one, I think it looks pretty cool the way it is, two, I don't have an allen-key handy to take the front sight off (though I may do so in the future to see how it looks), and three: I usually use goggles/a face mask, and with the sight so low, I can't really bring it up to my cheek where it needs to be to get proper aiming. With the scope where it is, I can easily aim without my mask/goggles in the way. Plus, it just took about a little over five minutes to adjust elevation on my scope to have it properly zeroed. So no big deal! But thanks for the suggestions, I may try it, just to see how it looks! :D
