THE SNIPER RIFLE HAS ARRIVED!!!
the almighty Tanaka M24 SWS has finally made its way into my home. I ripped open the package and there it was, the wonderful weapon of the sniper. I need some help with it tho......how do u adjust the PCS????? the damn manual is in japanese, and the pictures don't really help. does anyone kno how to adjust it?

LoLz, hey shawn, how do u get the bolt off? u make it look so easy :x ....the receiver is easy, but i see no screws or anything like that around the bolt......any suggestions?
the bolt release is right above the trigger. look inside the trigger gaurd right there... there is a little button that you push that releases the bolt... just like the real rifle.

hehe bruce, thanx jeff. Hey jeff, shawn, and adrian. Did u guys have to do a lot of adjusting on ur rifles until they starting shooting accurately with .36s and .43s?? I have to adjust my PCS, Hop-up, AND SCOPE. so im kinda discouraged by the way the M24 is shooting in terms of accuracy. other than that though, its firing ubelievably straight when not looking through the scope. if u have any pointers for the gas sniper rifle, lemme know ill greatly appreciate it. thanx in advance.
yup, thats the problem with gas rifles, poor, inconsistan accuracy. It takes a lot of adjusting to get a sniper rifle perfect.
i believe i told you that a few times and a better choice for a practical sniper rifle... then more than 2 people agreed with me....
my suggestion to you would be to first set the PCS system or whatever... so that you have the power you want from a room temp mag.

yea do what jeff explained. my kar hop isnt hard to get set, I use .36's most the time. And the scope isnt hard to dial in, takes about 2 mags to get it all worked out.
Hey Jeff I ordered one from Den. They are out of stock, but they said that they will have more in next week and that they will ship it to me next week. So i will let you know when i get it. Oh and yes Shawn they finally shipped my stuff. Amazing almost a month later. Probably a empty box with a note on the inside saying APRIL FOOLS!!. Better not be though. Been waiting awhile :evil:
alright thanx jeff for those steps. dave, i havent even given the gun a chance yet, we'll see how it works. if it isnt up to my standards, new sniper rifle for me. who knows?
i really think im gonna have to use green gas, tune my PCS as far down as possible and hope to god that it stays around 450 fps with .2gs or else this gun wont be a sniper rifle.....currently, i have set my scope perfectly, hop is ok, and PCS needs adjustment still, so i have no idea what im shooting at, but if the PCS is at the lowest, im probly shooting about 270 fps or so. which is totally low.it needs to shoot at least like 350 fps with .36s or else it wont go far enough to be qualifiable as a sniper rifle. if it turns out that i cant make my fps 450 with .2gs with green, then i think im gonna have to sell this gun and buy 2 AEGs or something..........i really dont want to do that though, considering this is an awesome rifle, but due to me being only 14, i have to keep my FPS low, or else i cant use a sniper rifle at all. if worse comes to worse, L96, PSG-1, AK-47, or SG-552 SEALS, here i come. if anyone knows how to adjust the damn PCS bolt, lemme know. ive searched all over the net, and nothing. i know how to get to the bolt, just no idea which way to turn it or HOW to turn it to increase power. also, if anyone has any sniper rifles that meet my needs, lemme know. thanx guys, maybe i just need to be patient and the gun will be better.....

Hey don't give up on the rifle yet. I just got my stuff from Den and it even had the PCS bolt. Its installed, just haven't been able to crono it and mess with it yet. I have to wait till the next game to test it out and fine tune it to shoot under 500 fps. Im wanting to get it right around 480 since it seems to shoot the straightest right around there with green gas and .36s. Im not sure if its the same as your bolt but the PCS screw is in a bitch of a location. i use a really thin piece of metal to turn it. not sure which way turns it up or down yet. Will let you know more once im able to fiddle with some more.
