I bought a TM Spetsnaz used, with upgrades. The guy I bought it from wasn't sure about the barrel, it is brass is the stock TM barrel brass? The AEG seems pretty accurate so I wonder if it is an upgrade barrel, or if I can get an even better barrel for the gun.

I believe if it's brass it's stock....

they make brass tb's. its all about the width of it

hrmm, i don't have a caliper to check the diameter of the barrel. Is there any way to tell besides that?

find a buddy with a gun, take out their stock barrel, and compare the 2, if the look different, there ya go

i know it might sound wierd...but, take a bb, and drop it down the top of the barrel...if the bb has little to no air between the bb and the barrel, then its a TB...if its kinda a lot...its a reular one...

hrmmm it looks like there is just a little bit of space, but I dont know...what would you call alot? be descriptive maybe I will get the idea.

this is kinda pointless, the space between a TB and a stock barrel is so small that u couldnt really tell, unless u have a calaber built into your eyes, if u do get a job as a machinest. My best idea would be, take it to AEX and have them look at it and ask if they have a calaber to measure it, or go get a cheap one, i dont know, if u like it keep the way it is, or go buy a TB and see if it is even better.

rap, take a look at a stock and a tb side by side, you can tell a small differnece in the thickness of the barrels.

hmmmm i cant really see it, but hey im also drunk so whatever, like i said just meausre it. but my point is in a 6.08 barrel and a 6.03 barrel that space is so small theres now way I could see the difference. but i dont know.

how about if i post a pic of it? i am cleaning the gun and will take a shot and post it.

no, to hard to tell from a pic. just look at your barrel, a known stock barrel, and a known tb

pour bb's down the barrel until you can see one at the tip top of the barrel...take a pic of down the barrel, but slant the gun a little bit...pm the picture.

yeah, its a stock barrel...the TM barrels usually have that taper on the outside on the end...the tightbores have it inside for the most part...but, great photo's dude! just what i was looking for, but better...haha.
