what do you guys think of the WE Hi Capa? dose it compare well to the TM Hi Capa? also will the TM Mags fit the WE?

the tm mags do fit it, but it always seems like there is some sort of problems with the WE, so id say stick to the tm

the slide is way too heavy so the cycle is really slow

I'm gonna get flamed for this i'm sure, but i've got one and havn't had any problems with it. The cycle is kinda slow but a new spring would prob fix it. I only use TM mags in it since i broke the fill valve on the stock one by over tightening it :oops: . I have one high flow valve and the difference with the metal slide is amazing. Oh ya i should prob note that i have the K version (fake chrome outter barrel, milled slide)... dunno if thats why i havn't had any problems, maybe i just got lucky. It seems WE has had some quality control problems in the assembly of their guns.

get the WE. full metal, not just slide and barrel. Ive never seen any problems either (Just my personal experience, dont flip a b!tch guys!) ya the cycle is slightly slower than the marui, but the realism in the metal more than compensates.

I have the WE and have handled the TM. I would personally suggest the TM since one huge problem that the Hi-capa has that was already stated is that the slide is heavy which makes the blow back kind of sluggish. Another problem is that it's really front heavy and the plastic lower grip is kind of cheap feeling by comparison to the rest of the gun. However, the accuracy was only slightly worse than the TM when using green gas in both of the guns. So pretty much, it's efficiency and slight performance (TM) against weight, realism, and aesthetics (WE).

Definately TM. I bought the wei tech, while the full metal is nice, it really is a problem for this gun. My mags tend to freeze up quickly (even with 2 shot bursts), and I realized that its because of the full metal body. It keeps the mags cold.

TM Rules man, i am thinking about getting a hicapa 5.1 or 4.3 myself.

The older WEI hicapas have lead in the slide, which is why the slide is so heavy and has a sluggish blowback feel. The 4.3 is supposed to have an alluminum slide but upon handling it , it could have been lead, just .8 inches less of it.
