18 year old student and 25 year old teacher, only reason this made the news is because its in Texas and it sounds like all the other teachers sleeping with students cases that have come up in the last 10 years.

mental manipulation is hard to prove, but it's easier when someone has authority over someone else...like say in a student/teacher relationship.

Good point James. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that. But it wasn't the boy that went to the police. He simply admitted to having sex with her. So that leads me to beleive that he had little problem with the sex. He probably just didn't want to get in trouble.
