If you get a really heavy bb, does it shoot a lot slower in the gun? I have an MP5A4 that shoots about 330, and i wanna get it right at 400 so i'm within the legal limit for you guys, but i want to be very accurate. SO, if i get like .36 bb's instead of .20's, and then upgrade my gun to like 450, will it shoot down to 400? just curious, i'm not ACTUALLY going to do this *coughliescough* so, what exactly is the fps/bb weight ratios? is there a rule of thumb that every .10 of weight slows it down by 50 fps or something?
A 7.62mm, 178 grain bullet travels at a velocity of 2600 fps and has 2,520 foot-pounds of kinetic energy, which is enough to penetrate through 9 soft-target personnel...
if you did that, you couldnt play with us....
That would mean his gun is shooting 475FPS with .20s if he disables the full auto he can use it.
Yep, don't even attempt to bring out a full-auto gun that shoots 400 fps with .36g bb's. Snoopy always brings up his chrono and new guns are always clocked before the games. He does check the weight of your bb's, and if you're shooting hot and full-auto is not disabled, you'll be sent packing. Once again, that's 400 fps with .20g bb's for guns with full auto.
