what do u guys think?

theres a review on sacairs review page of these. It's probably a good buy but I don't have any experience with them. Check out airsoftplayers.com forums cause I think that there might be some flaws in the gearbox design thaat can become a problem if you don't fix them...but they are easy fixes from what i hear.

I may be a bit biased, but I like the ICS. There are a couple of problems, but they are quick fixes, especially if you plan on upgrading it anyway. You definately want to change the bushings out, and shim the gear box. Also, they may have fixed this with the next production run, but the one that I got had a weak slip ring spring. I replaced it with a real steel one, and it is excellent now, in fact I need to use an M-16 handguard removal tool now. What I recommend is getting it upgraded with what I mentioned, plus whatever power option you want, and probably a tight bore barrel as well. So your basically going to do what you would do to any normal gun that you buy, and it's a great gun to boot. The forward assist actually takes the tension off of the spring, and the charging handle opens the ejector port cover, and exposes the hop up, which is much easier to adjust than the TM or the CA.

Personally if I were you, I'd go with one of the new M15s by Classic Army. M15a4. My m4 at the CQB game was a TM, but I have a M15a4 Rifle and love it, Stevee also has a M15a4 RIS not sure what he thinks about them, but I find them much better guns then TM. They are alittle cheapier then the ICS depending on where you get them. You can go to NorCal he wants about +$60 of what the Online USA based retailers want, but you can check the gun out before you get it. The come shooting 320FPS, with everything already metal.

Norca also carries the ICS, the problem with it though, is that both CA and ICS M4 carbines are back ordered. Right now he has CA M4 tacticals, but no carbines. He does however carry the carbine stock, so if you buy the tactical, you can ghange it over; but down side to that is that it is RIS, so you would have to do some other mods to make it work.

I was in there today buying gear, I saw some M4s with folding stocks, wasn't in there for guns so I didn't look into them, but he had them on the wall.

The M4 he has on the wall is a Panther Arms, so I would count that out.

I love my CAM15A4 RIS!!!! Super solid gun! A neighbor of mine (Chuck) just bought the M15 carbine from Norca. We chronoed it out of the box and it shot 335fps with .2's and 300fps .25's.

I guess you haven't had the pleasure of the new ICS guns. They are pretty good. So, like the old addage says; don't knock it until you've tried it.
