ive had all of the guns mentioned above (excpet m14) and they are all great guns we could go on for days about which one is better for various reasons. Go to AEX and feal up the guns of yor choice, buy the one YOU want it donst moatter what we think. The AUG is ugly yes but its a great gun the g3 is older but it is my new fav toy. the M4 is a overused classic in the airsoft world but its my best gun yet, the g36c is just plain old fun. m14=badass :D

At the risk of sounding EXTREMELY nooby, what is a VN?

The VN is a Tokyo Mauri M16 Vietnam Version. The good thing about them is that, amazingly, the barrel wobble is nil as compared to the A2.

I've been watching too many Vietnam movies and have taken a real liking to the VN... good to know they don't have any barrel wobble, that was deffinetely a concern of mine.

barrel wobble is nil because the front end is built like a metal pipe with a brass collar.

if you're worried about the barrel wobble, just take off the handguards and tighten the screw in there. You may have to do it everyonce in a while but then there is no wobble. And even if there is, it isnt that big of a deal.
