Whay ya guys think?

I've seen a few young people out there that are fine players. Either way though, I don't care. It's no big loss to me if we lose a few good 14 year olds, but also a lot of bad ones.

After being at the 30th game and seeing what went on with the airsofters that are 16 and younger I would say that their needs to be an age limit. I am not an admin so I cannot do much about it. But I think that all the vet. airsofters will agree that something need to be done about the situation. Stricter rules. The admins have done a good job of keeping everone in line and taking care of the problems that occure on the field. The one thing though is that there were a lot of people and lots of hot tempers. Usually there is not that big of a problem because there are not as many people each weekend. Yall need to speak your minds about this sit. because the admins do listen to what you have to say and keep it in mind when making important calls like this one.

I agree there needs to be an age limit set too, but what people need to understand is that even though you may think the admins need to be stricter with the rules during games, the field is large enough where the admins cannot be everywhere during a game so if something happens people need to deal with it in a mature manner, either that or grab a radio and call an admin over to your position.

i know i have not been out there in a long time, but, with airsoft games, which is not ment for children (like boxing is not ment for kids), there needs to be an age limit. Same thing goes with my other activites i do, i would not talk a 16 yr old to go parting ot bar hpping

There should be some kind of test, to test honesty. Just like the snipers have to take a test now.

AGE LIMIT WTF?!?!?!? first of all, people need to just learn how to play it safe. it has nothing to do with age limit. i did not just spend almost 500 dollars on airsoft to just have it all taken away. second of all, making an age limit will just cause u to lose more players. being almost 14, i would know. third, i agree with harley killer and cp. BE FUCKIN RESPONSIBLE! god damn people. i think that each person playing should just maybe be tested by ron or one of the other admins to see whether or not they can handle this! cmon an age limit would be pointless. any newbie no matter what age can make the same mistake of disregarding safety. it doesnt matter how old u are, as long as u can handle the fact that the weapon u carry can do damage and u need to respect it. that means no aiming the gun at people regardless of whether or not the battery is in, or the mag is out, or the safety is on. a GUN IS A GUN, and if u cant handle that responsibility, then dont play. like i said, ron should test newcomers to see whether or not they can handle it and make them sign a contract or SOMETHING to make them understand that they need to be just as careful with these guns as they are with real guns.

you all do realize that the only reason why the airsoft guns are even legal in the state of California is due to the fact that under federal law they are classified as bbs guns. Our guns meet this requirement for they are able to fire a metal projectile.

thats what I'm talking about, a test or contract is rediculous. what leverage do you have to hold people to the contract other than ejecting them from the club? You can't make them pay money or something if they were found cheating. And if you two think a test will help, you come up with a test. And if you little children do not understand... YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY EVERY OTHER WEEKEND!!!! We have no problem expanding the sport by letting you children play. Its the fact that when we get a bunch of you together, you all think you are the shit. Whatever, this is stupid. :evil:

LoL a test? a contract? hmm thats simple to freaking bypass doomasses...first off i could easily pass the test, and sign a contract...what the hell is that going to do to help out cheating? after all said and done, i could just come out and cheat somemore...contract says youll be kicked out for good...big deal...paper work never solves jack shit..setting examples by action does..

age limit sounds good to me.

this is all f***ed up. what the hell is the problem with u people cheating. i mean just go out there for fun and its not fun if u stand there and shoot him like 500 time then him crwal off into a bush. those kind of poeple should be band or something. becauseid say a lot of the people who go out there on a regular bases call there hits. but with that bigt game we had hella noobs and shit out there that dint kno what the hell they where doing.

Hey Viper I totaly I agree with you. I know that when I got my first airsoft gun I was 16 or so. After playing on the 30th I am just ticked off at the way one of the players were acting. I was talking with a couple of guys after the game and they said that they may decide not to come back until there is an age limit. Some fields have an 18 or older limit. But with everyone talking about cheating ya everyone does it because they are so involved in the game they just don't want to leave the action. If you get hit call your hit or you can just face the rath of an admin. To stop a game for stupid reason like people cheating or people fighting like 5 year olds is just retarded. Yall need to grow the heck up. I have been playing long enough to respect the game and the people who play the game. If you don't have respect for the rules or the people who are out their you should. The rules are to ensure that everyone has a fun time. SO YALL LIGTHEN UP AND HAVE FUN.

thats one reason why i dont really want to come to any sacair games. there is always some asshole to get pissed at or some rediculous problem. so i figure ill just stick to my circle of friends and airsoft. ill probably go to a few more, maybe pick out the non asshole and honorable ones, and connect them with my ring. but whatever happens happens

ya ron i understand what your saying. chaos and your gang, they are doing any age every other weekend( i believe?) so dont stress it.

I have to say that i am not totally for having an age limit. The problem lies in the fact that Sacairsoft is a very public airsofting community so far. There use to be 6 of us with stock aegs, no bdus and a high cap running through cp. Now its huge, and it's great, although anybody with an aeg, battery and some bb's can play.

okay something just totally dawned on me. Cheating is cheating. Not calling your hits on purpose is what im talking about. I hypothesize that most people that are cheating are cheating not because they want to cheat or they have an uncontrollable urge to cheat, but because they are frustrated and are not getting the results from the game that they expect. This of course is totally aimed at those people usually kids or newbies whichever one fits, that have parents/gaurdians who buy them a super awesome happy gun, but when they get to the field the veterans or more experience players come around with real tactics and kick their arse to the fence with their plain jane unhappy gun. But then again i could be totally wrong. :?:

Mr. Reyes SHUT IT! nah just kidding dude, i understand your point of view also. this game this weekend is going to be alittle more different. we arent doing invite only but registration is a MUST if you want to play. i havent been with sacair that long not even a year yet, but when i first started playing..(freaking ray was my idol..till he wasnt on my team and i got owned by him LoL) with the original group, will, bert, sardonic mike etc, it was really laid back and we didnt have any if at all problems, thats why i havent really been an ass out there, due to i want to keep sacair like it was when i first started. which i can see is almost imposible...welp we will see how things work out this game and hopefully it will be much better.
