Anyone ever use an airsoft red dot scope on a real rifle?

As much as I want a real Aimpoint replica, they would cost just as much as the rifle I want to get. So I thought, hmm....maybe one of the Aimpoint replicas that are so abundant in airsoft would work. Has anyone ever tried this, are they reasonably accurate?

I highly doubt that any of the aimpoint replicas can withstand the shock of a real rifle. i am sure they wouldnt stay zero'd in for a long amount of time.

ya, a real rifle is somehting that you need to be serious about. If you're ganne have a real gun, get the real scope. its well worth it, Aimpoints rock, just ask Ray, hes got one on his M4.
