how do i remove the orange tip
i have a glock and i wanted to know whats the best way to remove the orange tip
i sure some one will give you an anser to this, but I just wanted to remind you that it's against the law to remove the orange tip

Maybe just put some electrical tape over it when you play and then take it off l8r.
Get some 400 or 600 grain sand paper. Wet it, slightly wet the barrel, and then sand it. After that, get some flat black spray paint n paint it! This is what I do to all the barrels on the guns I buy. Havent done it to a pistol yet though, but it should definetly work.
BANG BANG
Everyone I play with has done the same thing. And cops have come to us before a few times n saw them. We didn't get in any touble.

i've used 300 grit sandpaper... i found you get a smoother result but you eat through sandpaper like a hot knife through butter and it takes a long time to sand down a whole slide. For just orange tho like on guns from AEX... get some rubbing alcohol and soak the orange part in it first
Rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, nail polish remover....
In close range combat, an unsuspecting melon will get the back of its melon blown off.
Use a solvent like acetone. If that doesnt work, you have to sand it off, but you might need to repaint parts of the slide.
This is what I mean. Sure "every one does it" but that doesn't make it legal. If a Peace Officer wanted to confiscate your $600 toy they could do it. Also, they'd be within their rights to shoot you and ask questions later if they felt threatened.

Do you got an orage tip??? Everyone I play with has a black tip!
BANG BANG
me? yes- i do not remove the orange tip- in fact on my pistol I re-paint the tip because the slide rubs it off.

well then how the cops that come out and play with us DONT have orange tips on their guns or the cops that show up to games dont care?
come on dude , The game is supposed to be all about realism , i mean no trademarks is bad enough , do you really want tobe spooted , because some fat neon orange tip is sticking out of a bush??
well, it's like all the other laws are are enforced as they see fit. Let's not argue the law- I posted it elsewhere. It clearly states that airsoft guns must retain the orange tip. That's a federal thing too.

I agree- it's about realism and that's what makes it fun! :)

Doesn't matter if you have an orange tip or not because of this...
Pygmy Militia Group
Well, we all know that no one is going to spray a whole M4 with day-glo orange. And, I never understand why this BS law is always made- except to satisfy anit-gunners during an election year. WE all know that criminals don't care about law...that's why we call them criminals.

well, whatever everyone else does, the only gun that I ever PURPOSELY removed orange from was my Anaconda, and mostly b/c it was flaking off (chrome doesnt hold paint on that well) thus making it hideous.
We need to get ourselves backed by the NRA. Its about time airsoft got political instead of sitting around waiting for lawmakers to slowly chip off at our right to play.

hey- I'm a Life Member. Been one since 1986. (yeah I'm old too.) I advise anyone remotely interested in Constitutional Freedom to join the NRA. Not just gun owners. If they chip away at the Second Amendment, they'll not stop there my friend.
