Hey I've got a problem and would like to see if anyone can help. Just got my gun back from Fortress doing some gun care. Get home start shooting to test the mags I bought. I'm running a SR-16 with a systema FTK m120 upgrade using a 8.4v 1700mah batt, shooting in burst. Firing for about 2 seconds let up and repeat. about half way through a hicap I smell something, and two trigger pulls later my gun stops working. I check the fuse and its burnt. I look and see that it is a "15A" fuse. Go to home depot get a 15 amp and come back put in and the same thing happens. Half way through the mag I smell something and then the gun stops working due to a burnt fuse. I've fired this gun a lot harder at the last couple of games then testing this mag. Am I doing something wrong or is something not working right?
screw the fuses take them out. if the gun still doesnt shoot you better take it back to whoever touched it last.

I would recomend trying a higher fuse to start. Do not remove the Fuse Unit. If you remove the fuse unit who ever did the work will most likely no longer cover the work as you have modifyed it . If the higher fuse burns then just take it back.
Not so fast on pulling the fuse.......
Hrm, if there's that much load on the motor, you may need to adjust it. The gears might not be shimmed correctly either.
If you can't solve the problem by adjusting the motor, I would take it in to have someone look at it. Norca Army Navy has regular hours, and he'll make sure it is squared away. But if you got it upgraded at Fortress, you might be able to get Vincent to fix it for free if it was his screw up.
Sounds like your motor is being loaded. . . Something in your mech is binding up.
Ray's got the MOVES!
ok first off take it back to vincent, remember me? yea ok, bring it back to him, dont attempt to put another fuse in there, your gearbox is locked up, i would simply bring it back to him, he will fix it. ask him to check shims and if everything is seated right. anymore pulling of the trigger will blow your motor.

Thanks for all the information and help. I'll be taking it back to Fortress next week to get it fixed and for some more upgrades. ;--
