ok, im ordering off of UN company, and they ask to put on orange tip or not...if i say no, is there a chance of customs taking it, or will they(customs) put the orange tip on it??? or should i get the orange tip on and somehow take it off, but not ruin the barrel(its a WA gun, and its plastic...dont know if the nail polish remover will hurt it)

what are you buying exactly Joe?I would say just ask to have the orange tip on it, customs I believe are the ones who check for the orange tip and to make sure the trades have been covered, but Iam not an expert, I maybe wrong.

I've ordered wholesale from them before. I'd tell you to get the orange tip and ask them to cover trades with putty. You can remove the putty easy enough and the orange they use is a just cheap spray paint. Very easy to get off- I had to repaint to keep mine on, and if you want it off--well, easy to do yes?

ah...so the puddy is pretty much like a thick glue, correct? if so, i bet customs will be better with that than tape...just because they would think the tape is easier to remove...haha.

Yes, they will seize your gun if there is no orange. Give them instructions on how you want your trades covered, and they will do it for you no problem. The putty is really easy to take off, and the orange chips right off, or comes off with a mild paint remover.

sometimes the putty sucks tho- they covered a CA once and it was a bear getting it off.
