yeah, im on Day 5 of the project. Just put the first coat of OD on it. Most of the internals are done, except for the inner barrel (s). Now I just need a grenade. :D

The whole name of the project is the XM73 Compact Light Anit-tank Weapon (or CLAW). Essentially, I tried to make a smaller version of the M72 LAW.

Wow Chase, I sure want to shoot that thing at the up and coming operation!.
Jun 19, 2006 9:36pm
hmm, that'll be $2 per shot, plz. JK
Jun 19, 2006 9:41pm
I will use my own bb's for a shot with it  , and you should be able to get it fully operational by july 1st, well hopefully anways. Good luck with that.

my idea and my R&D via trial-and-error. That's why most of it is wood: im cheap as a$$. I painted it last night and now I have to sand down some stuff to get the push-trigger to work again.
Jun 19, 2006 10:02pm
Cool, hope to see it at the uncoming operation once again I think that's really cool.
Jun 19, 2006 10:05pm
Oh yeah, and the only power tool that I used (that helped) was a 20-year-old electric drill. That thing was very heavy and very bulky. :D
Jun 19, 2006 10:13pm
LOL, I've talked to Ian which is his real name on many occosasions, i am sure he will be fine with it, btw, this is funny your using and old drill and my Dad just got a new one, it makes your hand move to whatever side its turning because it had 500ft lb's of torque, LOL.
Jun 20, 2006 12:10am
LOL. Yeah, I had to use it because my new one, which runs on 7.2v batts, pretty much died.
