When i shoot my gun, you can hear a screech (guessing its the motor or something) and then when it shoots, it makes a loud popping sound. This should be normal but i want to reduce the sound as much as i can. help?? =D

thought you said the dynamat insulated the heat from ur battery, gearbox, etc, making all the internals really hot?

No, I just had to trim a bit of Dynamat out. I found out that it was shorting the contacts on the side of the gearbox. (If you look on the right side of the gearbox, the side with all the screws, on the black plate, you'll see a couple of solder points. That's what was shorting.) Once I removed the Dynamat from that spot, I never ran into that problem again. I fired hundreds of rounds and the battery did not get any hotter than usual.
