So I went out and bought an M14 today and want to get some furniture for it.

id say the g&p kit, just because its a aimpoint for just $22 more

Check the m14 thread on arnies. Alot of people have done the setup you want and you can see the after result. I believe people have posted pics of their m14s w/ all 3 rail systems installed.

well it looks to me that all the RAS's will look exactly the same, but possiblt different shades of black.

So here is what I setteled on and ordered tonight:

one thing im going to sugest is that you get metal sling mounts to mount on the rail on the side, and get a 3 point sling instead. i hated how the gun would drop on my side with the sniper sling. now keep in mind that this is a prefrence of mine, and everyone is different. so this is just a suggestion

sell it and get a g36

i have the G&P RAS, and its great. the aimpoint is longer than the normal ones. also, your not gonna snag up a tb for the M14 while redwolf still has it?

He already purchased the G&P RAS kit so I doubt he will want to spend another $1000 on an EBR kit that could get him at least three AEGs.

I'm not too big a fan of the EBR or SOPMOD or their respective prices. Something about their looks just turn me off. Anyone ever see the EBR on Arnies with a 203 on it? Talk about hideous....

So all my stuff is here. Now I need a scope and cheekpiece. Here's what I want it to look like when I am done:

1. That picture with m203 mounted is the Star SOPMOD and not an EBR.

i think you should take the front site off and put a nice silencer on it....but thats just my opinion...other than that, it looks great.

True about the SOL thing. Measure twice (or 10) cut once. Crap...now you've scared me from doing this lol. Think any 3rd party company will come out with one specifically for airsoft?
