nsh , "softing" just makes the game seem even more "wimpy" as paintballers put it , it sounds like we are shooting pillows or something that sounds terrible! worst new term for anything I have ever heard ...

hmm, I dont think it would work. Paintballers may call their sport "balling", but "softing" doesnt work as well.

okay, I see where you're going with this. And I applaud the idea of trying to start something that intrigues people. I just don't like the term "softing" but i think it's cool to have your own jargon.

psh forget accidently i just shoot him for the fun of it, then he shoots me back (this doesnt happen often and i am talking about not during a game) but yea i love airsofting because it gives me an excuse to hurt my friends (i.e. welts minor bleeding, etc. etc.) and not feel bad about it, instead i can laugh about it

"softing" reminds me of the term "fluffing," which for those who know, is not a good thing.
