heres a nice gun, a TM g36c and get a coupla hicaps, a coupla 8.4 volt 1400 mah batteries, and a 25 buck charger at aex, you won't be sorry it's a great gun, I've put like over 700 bux into my tm g36c with all the accessories and upgrades and such and I couldn't be happier, but you should also research to find out what kind of gun you would like, and in the words of SWATmonkey aka Joe, that's just my 2 cents.

borrow a bunch of different guns, and then buy a TM AUG, M14, or G36C! That way you get the best gun, and you know what you'll be missing, and you won't care! :D

get at least 5 people with different guns to shoot you simultaneously at different angles, find out which one hurt the most and buy that one.

go for an m4 variant , m16 variant , or ak-47 (74u if u got teh ka$h)... those are pretty basic guns , and have good range...

well get either a TM or CA from AEX. If i was in your situation i would get a TM and some kind of upgrade. get what you want. its not up to us its up to you. hope that helps.

I agree AEX is the place. Test fire them all. Think about how you like to play, what guns you've borrowed, and who you play with. Maybe you'll need to borrow a mag someday- it wouldn't help if you bought an M16 variant and everyone you play with has an AK.
